Caputo’s
Brilliant branding done by The Young Jerks? For my favorite local specialty market, Caputo’s? And I get to collaborate on designing and creative directing their website?! Pinch me. I took my genuine love for this company and poured it into every detail I touched. The challenge was to do that amazing branding justice, and make this website as special as the brick and mortar experience. (Special shout out to my design partner, Craig!)
Capturing design elements
After confirming our web design direction with our client and The Young Jerks, our next step was creative directing a photoshoot. We were able to work with so many of the specialty cheeses, meats, olive oils, bitters, and chocolates. Capturing these fine foods in the market setting really inspired so many website details.
A delicious website
Craig and I collaborated on designing a website experience that really celebrates the fine foods you will find at this specialty market and deli. So tempting and tactile, that you might think you could grab that bar of dark chocolate. This website, like a visit to Caputo’s, is a delicious balance of classic charm and modern flare.
An online market
This was my first ecommerce website design experience, and I sure learned a lot. Even though they are a smaller local business, they supply their specialty foods to a larger online clientele.
